Interesting but inefficient IMO. I know NOTHING of turbo setups but it seems that a turbo that far back of the engine would have to exert a LOT more energy than a conventional design. Also, Turbo lag would be a b!tch .

Whoa........that is odd.
What could possibly be the advantage to that? Cost?
The biggest cost would be the turbo itself for a normal setup so I can't see saving much on that crap.

what alot of people dont understand is that you need alot of heat energy to spin up those things not just the exhaust force

the only advantage i can see with this setup is room.
it isn't very easy to fit a turbo in the engine bay, but in the rear there is alot of room.

it also makes it easy for someone to swipe an expensive turbo.
