Moving july 1st from Denison Texas. I took a Youth pastor position (preacher/mentor for youth in church) at a church up there. I'm pretty pumped, but not too pumped to move away from the family. In talking to some people they have told me its outragous to get your car inspected/ registered up there.

How much is registration? I paid $46 in texas last week

How much is inspection? I paid 12.50 december




and for inspection stickers up there.... i'm going to need a hook up if anyone knows anyone. No emisions, dumped exhaust, huge cam. I'm kinda nervous. I have 2 guys down here that just give me the stickers without even checking the car.

 

Uhh...I think your friends may be referring to the West Side of the Mtns.

Ellensburg and Yakima (to the best of my knowledge) have yet to employ inspections or emissions testing. I registered my car for around $40 this year. It's never been inspected, and has never seen an emissions test.

But I do live in Ellensburg. Yakima is very close, and if they require that stuff...that would be shocking news to me.
