Oak Harbor, WA?

Since I got my car I have noticed a lot of Z28's around town. Just wondering if anyone here lives in or is stationed at the base in Oak Harbor, WA?

I just checked out some of the links in your sig. Looks pretty interesting. Once I get my ride runnin pretty I just might join a club and meet at some of the events. They are relatively close and seem pretty interesting.

Thanks for the info, I will check you guys out also. Im just waiting for some money to come in to I can start modding. I was just thinking about doing some basic stuff. K&N FIPK, Catback, and maybe swapping in a 6spd or upgrading to a 4L80. Course I know once I do those, I will have the need for more

Yea Ellis but tell the truth here you also belong to our club as well & would be racing with us if Team NW F-body didnt come to be born lol right????

Smoker there are alot of clubs in washington state. many do not limit what you can & can't do. Team NW Fbody is mostly geared toward racing & mods. (NOT saying anything against them because some of their members are PNWCC members as well & they are kewl) PNWCC is geared toward the shows & some racing. Either way even if you join both clubs or decide to join a diff. you can still get infromation out of the two groups.

Team NW Fbody & PNWCC work beside each other in several things. That makes us good teammates. The only thing that gets Rough is at the track. Once you are in those lanes all hats are off. Each to their own.

Thats understandable. I don't plan on modding my Z too much, but you know how that goes. I would like it to be a good 50/50 split. Like I can run it at the track well and do good in shows, ya know? I will be looking into both and maybe some others as they come along. Thanks for the info though.

Well you can do both

I have two good examples of doing both. A his and hers model. Although she will no longer drive the 'his' model LOL!

BTW it is not hard to get 500HP out of a stock short block and still look fairly stock. You should see the look on peoples faces when I have the stock wheels on and not the SS wheels. I dropped the hammer on a TT Supra not long ago with the stock wheels on and i think he is STILL looking for problems with his car

As far as PNWCC or Team NW? Your Choice. Team NW was started because at the time PNWCC snobbed most 4th gen owners plain and simple. Back then if you did not have a 1st gen no one wanted to talk to you save for a few GOOD members who I STILL call friends One of the is currently PNWCC Prez

Good luck all!

Im not sure what I plan on doing yet. At first I was just thinking about letting her breath better, intake, headers, exhaust, etc. and just leaving it at that. However, I have a friend in Bama that builds some kickarse engines and given the money Im sure he would hook me up nicely with a good street/strip setup. If I go that route the 4L80E would be a must.

Hey Ellis thats sounds like us. But we have a His, Hers & Hers Models. lol With the 95 Z/hawk (giggles His) 87 Irocz (mine) & the 82 Indy pace car (MINE)

Yeppers Sam & Sue are good People to work around. Of course you have Don, Bill s & Ellis to help out too. All good guys to ask questions to . We do now have a strong 4th gen group in the club. & you find that Snobbish 1st geners get over them selves & start interacting with the group more.

We do have one down fall being a large group (well over 200 members) that if you are not really active & I do mean coming to most of the meetings & stuff like that some guys will not remember your name. That & sometimes the Pres would think you are a new member lol.

Hey Ellis two questions you & steph coming to Camaros in the Sand June 7th & 8th? If so do you guys want a room $38 a night. I have 3 rooms left.

When is the Next Dyno day for TNW? I have a bunch of guys begging PNWCC to do one but I dont think we have space left on the calender & I know they want to do one lol. So Do I. I know you guys use someone down in this area.
