Need more members
Hey Guys,
I am trying to do my part and to save our club!
For all you Portland/Vancouver people we are looking for new member to help rejuvenate our F-body club. I’ve been a member for 10 years and watched it grow and shrink and currently the club is in need of new direction and fresh blood.
We are Columbia River Camaro Club (now open to all f-body’s). We’ve been around since the mid-70’s by it seems that know one knows about us
. We have a yearly show in Wilsonville and have interfaced with PNWCC a lot in the past. I’m sure many of you in Seattle know of CRCC to the south.
Since the death of the Camaro (2002)
our club has been limping along and in need of a good kick in the butt,
so I’m pleading with you f-body guys to come out and join us.
Get in on the fun of being in a car club. It’s a lot more fun to cruise as group and going to shows is really cool when you all can park and hang together. So, come out and help us keep this club alive. Next month we are voting in our new officers and would love to have a large group to help plan for next years activities.
We meet at Elmer’s in Delta Park (across I-5 from PIR) the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm. If you are interested, please feel free to call me Jon Barrett at home (360) 687-8375 or daytime at (360) 212-8522. You can also call Ray Grimes (current club President) (most all of the PNWCC member should know Ray) his number is (503) 684-5086. Our website is a little messed up but we are working on it please check it out at http://www.columbiarivercamaro.com/?content=main
Thanks everyone for reading, and please pass the word around and help us keep this fun group going!

Re: Need more members
I went to that Willsonville show the year before last in my 93 TA didn't seem to have a strong 4th gen presense. Some VERY nice first gens. There was a Hugger orange one with ZR1 wheels I was in love with.
If the day was nice enough for a show I'd be driving the Vette not the Wife's vert
They just didn't seem to interested in 4th gens I was part of a group that included an 396 firehawk, my 12 sec TA in WS6 trim, a bueatiful black 96 TA, a 11 second Z28, and we didn't even get a glance when we drove up...

To bad Willsonville Chevy forced CRCC to start having a All Chevy show. Instead of the Fbody show they have had in the years past.
I have yet to make it down there it always seems to be messing with one of our events up here or work or family stuff.
We have had a great turn out up here on a fbody show that we do in Lynnwood, but again I dont know if its going to keep going because the dealership is not interested in putting on a show of cars that are no longer being produced.
Our All Chevy/All Camaro show Date & location has already been set. for July 17th at XXX drive in. (no its not xrated lol)
Oh I guess Settlemire is coming back in to town on Nov 2nd for the Seattle Auto show & spending time with those of us who want to hang out with him with out asking when the Camaro is coming back.
