ok.. i dropped mine into the black darkness of my engine and it fell under my bumper somewhere in the nose.... in other words im not getting it back... i went to gm and they dont have it as a listed part even as a part of a kit?? neways this is the spring that keeps it straight one on the left of each hl and one on the right... not the updown one... so does ne1 have one??

 

Why don't you just open the black panels from the bottom

 

lol well now ive driven with it and am pretty sure its fallen out... id prefer a new one, but im gonna try an check neways..

 

Here's an alternative: drive in reverse really, really, really fast...then hit the brakes. Any loose parts trapped in the nose will immdediately fly out of the car .

 

yeah that will work as well

 

or take a corner really hard .. i had lost mt 5/8" wrench for a few months and it sprung out of the engine compartment one night when i power shifted into 2nd and went sideways ...
