The WS6 package is the Pontiac version of the IROC or SS...

Same idea. I would say the cars would run really close. It comes down to which car runs better / more efficient and the driver.

I thought we were talking about performance!

Theres a lot of obvious diferances between the two but personally I think they are the same car. Just a diferant body and interior!

All those extra options also add up in the weight department for the T/A, making it possibly slower in theory. Realistically, I would not expect to actually see the difference.

wow that page is kinda lame. they say our cars are like 13.6-14.0 in the 1/4 mile. wtf is that bs. i personally think i could do better than that in my car first time out. these guys call themselves professional drivers and that is all they can pull off? that is horid

the camaro will be faster for the reason of weight, a iroc z weighs less then a GTA more crap in it, heavier car, bu tthe motors are the same

Yes, but the Camaro will have 3.23 while the GTA will have 3.27 gears.

You can get the 3.27 rear end in the camaro too. It's the 9 bolt made by borg warner I think.

All the ls1 cars run deep 13's stone stock ! I have what is basically a k&n and a underdrive , ( loudmouth doesnt count cause the ws6 catback flows very well ) , I have super heavy rims and tires , rubber bands to launch with and some extra #'s in my stereo and I ran a 13.6 @ 108.5 mph on a 2.4 60 ft .... hmmm
