My 97 Z with LT1 does about 300k on a tank pretty regularily. I do notice that I can get 200k+ on the first half tank and then less than 100k on the last half. I guess (pretty obviously) that the top half is much bigger than the bottom half. I was wondering if it is the same for the newer LS1's??

Once you hit halfway you better keep you eye on the gas gage! I once thought that I would get 500kms to a tank when I had 250kms and half left. Boy was I wrong.

Injector size will not affect your gas milage at all aslong as the PCM/ECM knows that you have that size injectors in there, it should be able to hold a constant A/F ratio without any trouble.

Yep, I am running 50lb injectors and neither my idle quality nor my mileage changed after the upgrade.

That doesn't sound like a good story...

Yeah, our gas gauges are definitely not 'consistent' between when they are in the top half compared to the bottom half.
