FS: 2002 audi allroad - 13,000 obo

the allroad is basically a A6 avant except it has the S4 2.7 engine (could not get the A6 avant w/ this engine) and it has a 4-position adjustable air suspension. It can rise up around 4 inches.

Price: 13,000 CAD obo (leaving country any reasonable offer considered)
Commission if buyer found: 500 dollars
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Engine: 2.7 liter Bi-Turbo rated @ 250 HP/260 TQ
Transmission: Auto w/ sport mode & wheel shifters
Kilometers: 170,000

Oil always changed w/ full synthetic @ 5,000 km's
Always ran with 94 octane Chevron gas

We bought the car 2 years ago and put roughly 15-20,000 km's on it. Mostly around the lower mainland but 5-6 trips to the states and interior. Car is a FANTASTIC highway cruiser!

Options:
Wagon has just about every feature you'd expect from a higher end audi (from 2002)...
Heated leather seats (front AND rear)
heated steering wheel
memory position seats
6 disk in-dash cd
backup sensors
rear 12v outlet
AC w/ seperate drive/passenger control zones
express windows down/up front AND rear
etc...

heres a great list of all specs: http://www.automobilemag.com/am/2002...fications.html

I believe the only options it does not have are NAV and optional extra CD caddy.

Extras vs. stock
Stoptech 332 front brake kit w/ stainless steel lines (~2,000)
2" hitch custom built to factory specs (completely invisible) (~800)
NSR 4-bike rack, holds upto 4 downhill bikes (~500)
Older Laptop w/ genuine VAGCOM cable (~400)

Maintanence/Service
Tires, installed last year (except 1 is brand new from puncture 3 weeks ago)
Brakes, installed last year (stoptech kit, and new rear brakes to go with it)
Within the last 3 months the waterpump/timing belt and all things coolant related were replaced.
I have records from the dealer showing new transmission/torque converted installed just prior to me purchasing it.
Oil always changed with full synthetic and just changed again 3 weeks ago.

where are you going Jeff?

JeffK95Z 02-23-2010 01:40 PM

iceland :)

have a pretty sweet job lined up with CCP (they do online games, namely EVE Online)

they posted an ad on their website for a SQL Server dba 6-7 months ago. I applied not thinking much of it but told him how i'm currently working with the olympics as a dba and when i'm done @ end of march i'd be willing to check it out.

Surprisely enough, they emailed me back. We went through a few phone interviews and they flew me out in Dec. for the final interview and to check the place out. See if I could hack it :)

So once the games are over, we'll pack up the family and head over.

Need to sell the audi, and the camaro continues to hibernate for another few years.

its all very exciting! It's an incredible country thats very mis-understood.

The biggest thing that gets people is that iceland gets LESS precipitation per year then vancouver does :) Altho vancouver gets more then its fair share.

Also the weather isn't near as bad as the east coast even. Might hit -5 or so, but its location in the gulf stream keeps its out the deep freeze.

The only major thing is the darkness. When i was there in Dec, sun was coming up around 10;30-11am and it was gone by 4pm or so.

But its not much diff. then here... goto work, its dark, come home its dark... same thing :)

WOW....What an experience....Of course the country is a basket case right now....keep an eye on the tax situation there. The country is bankrupt.

Iceland is a FASCINATING story in the financial world.

Nonetheless....a great experience and close to Europe for some trips.

its just a couple of private banks that went under :)

but yes, tax is high, and probably gonna get higher. Cost of living is about the same as here (some things are a little more expensive). Housing costs are about the same, or just slighly lower

gonna be a interesting next few years thats for sure!!
