Edelbrock Heads=> For LT1!!!

I just bought a GM High Tech High Performance magazine and they had an article on the Sema show in Las Vegas. One the cool products they saw were the Edelbrock heads for LT1's. They claim 24hp increase over the stock heads on a bone stock car! They have 1.94 intake and 1.55 exaust valves and they said they would be priced less than CNC ported stock units inorder to be competitive.

Nice to see some attention for our segment of the hobby.

yeah those heads suck aparently, they up the compression ratio to around 11:1 which gives you 10hp right there, & they are probably cleaned up a little to give you another 14hp, waste of money in my opinion, remember its 24 flywheel hp, you can get that from a K&N

Ummm acctually, you do get around 20 flywheel HP with our cars with a K&N if you didn't have ram-air already.

No good head would go by HP advertisement, where are the flow numbers?

The flow numbers are also posted in the mag. And they DIDN'T say they WOULD be priced less, they said that they THOUGHT they should be priced less in order to be competitive... I don't know, so how 'bout heads and airfilter = 48 hp?
