don't use paint it will not work, or it won't ahear(sp?) right.

There are Dash repare kits that you can get that have patchs that will blend in pretty well... there is a guy just across the boarder that is going to be making my custom dash, and his basic stuff is amazing, basicly you send him ur ratty crap dash and he will fix it up, he NOS quality or better. like it came right from the factory! wow!

ill get his # for you when i get a chance.

If you just want to paint it, go to a shoe repair shop and get the little bottles of shoe laquer they sell. It usually matchs the factory colours perfectly, dries in seconds, and is bulletproof. Wipe the surfaces with acetone on a lint-free rag first to remove any grease. I've done whole interiors this way and they look as good as new. The little cans are expensive though...

Get to an industrial supply house and get MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) It will take the old crap off if used CAREFULLY! It will knock you out if you don't have FRESH air all the time you use it. It also causes liver damage after over exposure!!
But it does remove old laquer from interiors. It may melt something if you over do it though...
