Coquahalla double toll

Lots of radar on the Coquahalla hwy. Just passed Hope and outside of Merriet. Might have got a ticket on the return trip but the officer was writing up another guy. He had radar after the 50k climb from Peachland. They always setup radar on a down slope, I speed uphill. No radar going up and I still hit over 200 on the speedo. This Stang pulled up on me doing 120k, I shifted to fourth and waved goodbye. Gotta get me a Valentine 1 radar detector when I install the new car stereo. I mentioned all the radar at the toll booth, the lady called it the "double toll"!

Ya, the poor guys who get pulled over. I went years without a ticket then got two in one day on a Seattle trip recently, one on each side of the border. Please post the hottest spots for radar so we can all save the price of a ticket. Also. where would be the cheapest spot to buy the Valentine 1 radar detector?

I have the Passport Escort 8500 and have no complaints. It ranks up there with the V1. Saved my A$$ a few times too.
