Beater time!!

Ok, I would say it is now time to start looking for a beater for the fall/winter/spring. If anyone knows of someone selling a beater let me know.
Conditions: Running, and must pass aircare, <$1000, and it must be part of the GMC family.

hmmm or I could go buy a Sunfire, with personlized plates that read "Little Bird" and throw some on the TA that read "Big Bird"

That would be pretty clever.

New Sunfires are super cheap now............around 150/month if I'm not mistaken......

I would get the trophy for slowest.
Mines a 86 Diesel Golf 5speed.
Came from the factory 17 years ago with 48hp and 74ft/lbs of bone shattering torque. Must be less than that now.
I'll bet it would do well over 20 seconds in the 1/4..........

SB - the Sunfire is no longer GM's lowest new model.
The Chevrolet Aveo is the smallest and cheapest that GM does it now - with a 105Hp 1.6 DOHC 4 banger.

K Car .

It looks like a$$ but gets 600kms/tank easy and barely requires maintenance .

I'd lose to Armen's Z24 though .

That sounds like a perfect race for my 3500lb Mercedes 300D. 88 hp/137 ft/lbs torque when it was new
