the inside lip of the rear fender rubs when i go over some bumps
and it is annoying. it doesnt really don anything but i dont want it to cut into the tire so i want to bend it flush against the inside. it probably would of done it with the old tires but they didnt go out far enough.

yup most of the time it is the right rear

payam if i cant find a fender roller im just going to cut the lip about every 2-3 inches and tap it flush with a mallet. then i'll paint the inside where i cut with under coating so it doesnt rust.
you have to cut it cause it is round like the fender so if you just hit it with a hammer it will ripple the fender. also i'll have to use a heat gun probably so it doesnt crack the paint.

i also need to get an adjustable pan hard rod, probably next check.

If you don't want to do that you can get a adjustable panhard rod, it will center the rear end for you. I notice you have lowering springs so maybe it's the best way to do it, it'll eliminate the right side lean that you have.

I bought my new rubber and my rims are coming in so I have to do this too. Just called mopac in surrey, talked to a guy who own's a lowered 95 red ta. Adjustable rod costs $180.00 and figured it'd be a hour install.

I didn't have any problems with the outer lip. I had to bend the inside of the wells in on mine and also cut off the Bump Stops. Although on Perry's convertible the outer lip was rubbing and we grinded it down which resolved the problem

if you grind it down doesnt it leave a sharp edge that could cut the tire.

You can smooth it down to leave an edge just like it has now

mabye i will do that then seems like it would be a bit easier then my way. and i shouldnt have to worry about paint cracking or the fender rippling.

To roll fender lips alot of guys just stuff a peice of wood on top of the tire and turn the wheel (slowly). I dont know if this would work in your case or not.
