Anyone here import a car into Canada from the U.S.?

Just wondering if anyone here has purchased a car out of the US and brought it back to Canada? I'm looking at getting a 1999-2001 C5 out of the states but have been told by friends and relatives that it's extremely difficult to import a car, is this true? If anyone has imported a car into Canada and has a few minutes of time to send an e-mail to me with the info I need I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tyler

I wish I could remember who it is...........but someone here brought a car from back east in the states into Canada, it was a C5 also.........dark blue if I remember right.
I believe he had to ship it by train and then go through a big process to get it approved for importing.
At the time he was nice enough to supply everyone with a detailed description of things that was neccesary.

Yup, talk to Craig (Draco) and from what he said importing a C5 from the states is quite easy and duty free.
