Protech Racing - WARNING
Just a fair warning to fellow camaro owners.
I recently spend a small fortune at Protech Racing in Oakville.
I paid John Venteresca over $24,389 for a engine rebuild and installation.
Needless to say the engine lost oil pressure after 600km and damaged the crank and rods.
Protech Racing tired to blame myself for shortage of oil
The part that really upsets me is, I took it to a reputable builder in the GTA and the Forged crank, billet crower rods, Ross custom pistons aren't in the motor
instead I have a cheap cast crank, cheap eagle rods, and a off the shelf SRP piston!
I contacted John ventressca and he claims the new engine builder must of swapped the short block.
Needless to say legal action aganist PROTECH Racing is underway.
Hope this helps anyone from throwing away hard earned money.
