Hey everyone my name is Ryan im 20 and a die hard camaro fan. I have had 2 camaro's one was a 94 z28 that ran about high 12s in the quarter and the second with is the current car a 95 z28 thats not driveable yet. ill start with the 94. i no longer have the car because in October of last year i was headed home from my old ladies house and took a turn a little to fast hit a patch of lose gravel spun twice blacked out and was told that i hit a guard rail doing about 70-75, but enough of that car time for the new. right now im working on a project i just got back in feb paid 900 buck for the car, has 188k on the body and a rebuilt motor(have paper work). but my current problem is that the tranny is stuck in drive but its not strong enough to actually pull the car. i know this because we just had to move the car and i thought it was stuck in park so i dropped the driveshaft and not thinking started the car and the drive shaft started turning. killed the car hooked everything back up and started and no pull, but the car is able to roll just fine in no matter what gear just has to be push. so im lost for words. all in all im a younger guy just starting out and funny enough i work for a ford company. if you guys wanna know anything else about me just ask im open to all questions.

 

Welcome to the board. I am not "positive", but if you have the tranny from the smacked up '94 I suspect it will be a direct swap into the '95. Search the tech forums to find similar symptoms.
