Hello all,I'm a new member from Chicago.No Camaro right now but I'm checking out the possibility of picking up a 2010 LS in the near future.I really like the idea of the V6 making 300 horses and the advantage in performance,handling and braking due to the 6 banger LS's all around lighter weight. I'll be checking out possible real world affordable performance mods for more horsepower,increasing the amount of torque and increasing the torque curve down lower in the rpm range.Of course I want to make it handle and brake even better,probably by using take off components from the higher powered V8 models whenever possible.
I believe I'll be giving my sleeper 77 Nova 4 door six banger to my great nephew soon for his first car.He'll be able to keep a lot of the ricers humble while doing it in a easy to maintain reliable and economical American car.Plus it's being a faded copper/gold color 4 door makes it fairly invisible to LEO's,and that's very helpful when you're 16,or any age for that matter.

Dude, I drove the V8 and now own the LS3 powered V8. They are two completely different cars in both performance and handling, and I strongly recommend you get the LS3!
