Question Desperate for Suggestions

We have a 2000- V6 Camaro. In Feb. came home one day, wouldn't start up, troubleshooted - fuel pump. Ran until May, again just wouldn't start, changed fuel filter, car will start, but will just die after about 4 miles & won't start again until it has set for a couple hours. Car has been parked since May, waiting for help troubleshooting. Desperate for advice. As stated, we have changed the fuel pump & filter. There are no service engine lights coming on. You are driving along and the car just "loses power". Cranks hard, but won't start. All electrical still works. Thanks, in advance!

Re: Desperate for Suggestions

If it cuts out after it has been running and needs to cool down the problem is likely heat related. Beyond that you need someone more tech oriented than myself. Welcome to the board and search through the tech forums.

have you checked the fuel pressure ?? not saying this is your problem but i had a 3.8 V6 camaro that
once the car ran for a while and the engine got hot the car would cut off and wouldn't crank for maybe a hour or so turned out to be the thing under the coil pack the map sensor ?? just an idea

Re: Desperate for Suggestions

yeah, it could be a problem with your fuel pressure but to make sure, take it to your dealer and get it fixed.
