How high were you revving it? How much lift did your cam have?

Like an idiot I showed off @6700 with .576 lift on those springs Got her to chirp 5th!!! Nothing made it to the pan due to my valley screens for the just in case reason.

Yeah, those springs should have never been run with that cam. 6700 rpm with that poor of a combination is insult to injury...

At the time I had her in my mom's garage and she hurried me out so I stuck with those springs, I never thought they would detonate though

Those springs are barely good enough for the Hotcam How long did you drive like this before it happened? Hopefully people will learn a lesson from your mistake. 99% of cam install disasters are from weak springs.

I noticed a ticking noise that I couldn't get rid of so the first thing I suspected were the springs. They actually fell apart after I had them removed
