Where is everyone???

>Hey whats up N.E.
I haven't been coming to this section, but still posting in the Lounge and Forced Induction sections.
We should setup a N.E. meeting (cookout) for sometime in the summer.

Hell yeah. Whats everyone up to? This forum is dead. I just moved from East Taunton to Bridgewater, so I have been busy latley. I am building a single T88 true header turbo kit for someone right now. Its gonna retain the A/C. Quite a job, but its looking good. As far as my car goes, just trying to get it built N/A before I slap my turbo on.

Anyone have any good projects this winter?

Jon

I think a lot of folks moved to other vehicles/projects. I know I shifted to the 3800 scene and now own a 40th Anniversary GTP with some bolt ons and a 2000 Monte SS that I woke up from 200hp at the crank to 350 to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno (12-15% lower than a Dynojet) at 5200 because I outran the MAF and need to convert to a 3 bar MAP. 93 octane and no knock as well.

Lot's of folks are over at LS1tech.com as well.

True statements througout this post.........

I am not in love with LS1tech.com, god forbid if you mention that you had a bad experience with a sponsor as that is taboo, don't mention a non sponsor either.....**** EM!!

One too many head gaskets and a baby with another on the way made me realize that I wanted to do what I really wanted to do in the first place but was impatient and took the easy route of getting a newer Z/28 (well back in 98 when I bought the 94 it seemed new)....anyway, I'm sticking an LS1 into my 73 Z/28 and it should be done in about a month. I should have bought a second gen back then but hey the Tomato was fun while it lasted....

The only big power guy left who started this section and was one of the original crew when Dean opened up New England Dyno and Tuning is John (Vortech 396) but he doesn't seem to post much anymore but at least he's still got his Z and it's in the 600RWHP range.

This section allways sucks in the winter.....

For a couple of years I was setting up an adventure at a Titty bar (first year was the Golden Bananna for those old enough to remember it, damn good place by the way and somewhere that I've closed down on many an occasion on the way home from a Celtics game), then after the GB closed down it was on to Tens in Salisbury.

10s is fun... Maybe after the holidays we should take a little road trip....

Anyway, this place does quiet down in the winter. There is a regional forum over at http://www.northeastdragracing.com (Oxford Dragway, New England Dragway, Winterport Dragway, Atco Dragway), for those folks who race at the local tracks. It is pretty much racing related content. There is also a really good group at http://www.nitromater.com and there you actually need to use "real names" and a few of them have joined a small myspace group under the same name which I have yet to figure out how to make look good. Again, these are basically drag racers and drag fans (no competition for this site)...

Maybe we can get together sometime... My wife works until 5:00pm today... Tomorrow is her day off.... Gibe me a buzz. I'm not tied down.

Our brother has been in FLA for the past week but honestly all we do is trade voice mails. He keeps saying he is coming up and will be around soon but I have been hearing that for a month.

I have been thinking about putting the storm windows on for him in Woolwich.
