I just don't frequent this board like I use to. all the guys we use to have dyno days with and talk to either got out of cars or just disapeared???

 

Could it be that we were all "Questified" aka bent over by Quest Racing?

Bob (96Z28SS) - peckerhead (Mike Foucher) ruined one block by clearancing for his stroker, Bob had to have someone else build it only to have peckerhead put his famous coil pack ignition on it, didn't run for **** so Bob yanks it and puts a distributor in it. Bob sold the car and moved to Oregon

John (Vortech 396,8/402) add the 398 and 402 courtesy of Mike's quality work, blown up, broke down and yup had to yank his coil pack setup off and put a distributor in. Hell, the first two times John tried to take the car home he had to have it towed back to Quest as it wouldn't make it. Still has the car but not sure of his status lately.

Dean (Dean77) - hell I can't remember how many motors Mike blew up on him, a few of them never made it off the engine dyno but none of them were ever peckerheads fault and when he finally did get a motor to run (with a distributor as the coil packs had issues on yet another car) it went through alot of oil and had to come apart - sick of it and tired of throwing money into the fire, turned the car back to stock and sold it.

Me - well Dan you know my story - was on "two week" status for the better part of three years thanks to "peckerhead engineering". Did get the car to run but said screw it and am in the process of parting it out and going old school.
