In search of my fathers Z28

Hello New England members!
About 20 years ago my father sold his candy apple red,1973 Z28. It had an Edelbrock engine with a supercharger protruding out of the hood. The initials W.M.R were painted on the drivers side door (possibly the passengers door as well). He had to sell the car due to financial hardship and I'd love to track it down and restore it for him. Just looking for any possible leads. my father thinks he saw it about 12-15 years ago sitting in a junk yard in the Massachusetts area, with the engine ripped out and it broke his heart, hopefully somebody at least grabbed the body before it went to the scrap. Thanks in advance for any info you may have!

Any chance it looked like this? I think that's a 72 front bumper, but maybe it was changed. Photo was take at the Englishtown, NJ annual swap meet and car show on 9/29/2001.
