Big motors, tuff trannies and other stuff
Big motors, tuff trannies and other stuff
hey guys, the monster truck organization that i crew for (Ok so there are only like 6 people) we need sponsorship, preferrably of the motor and tranny variety.
This thing is expensive, it makes it to over 40 shows a year nationwide, sometimes into canada(mexico once too)
Also, we competed in PRO MT this year in nazareth PA.....that was some badass shiznit if i do say so
Pro MT is a points style race series (and its the only real racing in the world of monster trucks, the TV junk is like wrestling its fake) we really want to continue to go these events and be competitive with bigfoot, raminator, and the other big guys. but to do that we need a big hemi and lenco to go with it....our 1500hp is no match for the big guys pushing well over 2000 (2750 rumored in BF 14)
anyways, if anyone knows anything id love to hear about it, ideas welcome.....we're based in Dracut Ma
The truck currently has a blown alcohol 482 BB chevy with an
8-71 blower 10% overdriven (MTRA rules)Aluminum bowtie heads, the cam sucks (hehe change it jeff) and a th400 (its been changed apprx. 115 times since jeff started 7 years ago)
PS if we get a sponsor and we can get a hemi, Jeff (owner/driver) has promised that we will but the 482 (complete with injector hat and blower) in my car so please help out hehehe, cause that would be one bad mother of a camaro

damn that sounds like a sick truck you've got there
I'm going to school at UMASS Lowell, what part of Dracut are you from? Sounds like you've got yourself a sick 3rd gen as well. Is there anything car related in the area around us? I know I see a ton of rice burners around and know they all hang in packs I just didn't know if the muscle got together as well

yep
thanks man,
unfortunately the car scene around the dracut lowell area is dominated by ricers.....there are alot of sweet cars in dract lowell and tewksbury, but they are never out and about.....you gotta kinda look around. there is a big cruise night down 38 in tewksbury in the spring and summer though.
i have pics of the truck and the car if you wanna see them too.
