What tires are you guys running for N20 on street cars?
True, I'll restate my opinion. If the car is not driven that much and you have another car to fall back on as a DD then Mickey Thompson's would be the way to go.
But if your car is a daily driver, I would say go with the Nitto's. I'm sure no one would want to buy new 180 dollar tires every 6 months.

I agree with that ^.
I guess it depends a lot on your driving habits as for how long the MT drag radials last. If your not to aggresive they will last a long time for the type of tire they are... a street legal soft racing tire...
I have had mine for a little over a year, and would guess 7-8k miles. Only beat on the car when the "occasional opprotunity" arises
I will change them out in the next few months for another set of the same. 275/40/17 MT ET street drag radials.
I don't use the n20 in first gear, but it comes on in second and the tires hold well.
No n20, roll out quick and go wot, no slippage at all..dig and go.
Any previous sets of tires went up in smoke on a quick roll out and wot.
18-20 psi, 3krpm drop and easy push the pedal to the floor = decent street launch.
Have not been to the track with them..don't really go to the track much.
I have been wanting to install a line lock and really warm them up.
Then try a few launches and see how much better or worse they would hold.
Opinions vary... I have had this car for 120k miles. The work in the sig below for 90k, save for the n20, that went on 12k miles ago.
The MT drag radials is one of the best mods I have done, if you can call tire selection a modification.

I installed a line lock and heated up the tires last night before I raced a mustang. The nittos hooked very well. I think once you get them heated they are great.
But of course I will agree with you, the Mickeys are the best out there. I have a set in 275/50R15 on some Weld Prostars that I use when I want to get serious.
