What is pull timing???

I hear that often, I know it is the sparks timing, but how/what do you make it so that it only pulls timing when your spraying and not when your just driving??
And I have (soon) a dual stage, how do I make it pull timing for the second stage and not the first one (or different timing)??

I will have a 50/150 shot.

To pull timing, when only on the spray, you need to have you ignition system set up with an aftermarket timing retard device. I use a MSD 6AL box with the MSD timing control set up to activate when the solenoids turn on. This is on a one-stage system but you could easily adapt it to a two-stage system.
