toggle switch
 

this might be a stupid ? but it might mean i have my system hooked up wrong, so i am gonna ask.

when i have the toggle set to power ON, the system is off. same thing with my bottle heater. but when i flip it to the ground side it lights up and it all turns on! just wondering y it is like this, or i am just missing something simple?

hmmm. Maybe you have the off on plate on wrong? Which switches?

i have a toggle switch for the entire system and then one for only the botle heater.
both of them are the same. i know i could just swap the power/ground wires, but i feel that doing it that way is just a bandaid. so to speak.
is there any way to test a NX window switch? the type with the 2 pills in the side? only way i can get the system to work is with that out!

I hope I don't look stupid with this answer but I was thinking your switch is acting correctly but you are expecting something else. I was under the impression that the "power" switch would actually be completing the ground. A switch is safer that way because there's no arcing as the contacts separate or close.

The reason I say this is my Mallory window switch output is a ground wire. In other words, the ground for the nitrous is completed through the Mallory wiring. The nitrous switch is an in series contact through the ground wire that the Mallory window switch circuit controls. Do I have this wrong?

i see what u are saying. just other times i have hooked up a toggle, it was when i switched it to power that it lit up.
