Stock LT1's with a 100-150 shot

what does a basically stock LT1 run with a 100-150 shot..6 spd or auto, im just tryin to hear some opinions
Think anything above a 100 shot is too much for a higer mileage LT1

I've heard of cars with the standard bolt ons and a 150 shot going high 11's and low 12's on the spray.

Stalled auto with DRs should be low 12's maybe high 11's on a 150 shot. M6 car is gonna be harder to get out of the hole.

Not really high mileage, but time in sig with 76k miles. Haven't been to the track in awhile, but have quite a few new mods. Time should drop by a few tenths next time. ;)

I ran 11.5x on a 150 shot with the sig car. It's so stock I drive it to work every day, snow included. 126,xxx miles and counting.

my advice, on a STOCK lt1, use 100 shots.

If your going 150 shot, yeah it SHOULD be ok but your on the limits of the fuel system and your going to run into timing issued that could cause detonation. 150 shot your going to NEED to pull some timing or run some high octane fuel to be in the "safe" zone without unnecesary risk to the motor.

If you run 100 shots, your good all stock except for getting colder plugs.

Do it....Do it

I ran an 11.4@123 on a 150 shot last night on stock internals with an M6. Huh, I guess you can hook up. It's not that hard to get out of the hole

spray and pray!! its always a risk but its worth the extra second

Hawk is right. At the 150 level you're going to need to start paying attention to what you are doing otherwise an engine catasprophy is in your future. It's the start of the ragged edge.

You can spray it for a while, but it'll catch up to you in a bad way.

You should easily spray off a full second at the 100 level, if you don't find out what is wrong, don't just install the 150 jets.
