how new is your fuel pump. an aftermarket one helps but it is not needed yet. injectors dont worry about yet either. plugs go with ngk tr6 plugs thats what everyone on here seems to use.

dont have to go with ngk tr6,they can be a PITA to find locally sometimes. Autolite 103/104's are also used, and a lot easier to find.

yes, new plugs are a must! Platinum tips will be lost after a good squirt of N2O and then you will have some serious problems! Fuel pump is not reguired so long as you know your stocker works. have a FPSS just in case. I ran a 150 shot on a bolt on car up to 130,000 miles with a stock fuel system, before i lost a piston (my own fault).

So there is no way to run the platium plugs? The reason I ask is after my header install I had a couple of plug wire boots touching the headers and the only way I got around this (besides taking them back off and beating in the tubes ) was to run the Accel shorty header plugs, which are a double platinum plug. I found that they make a colder version of that plug thats in the same heat range as the NGK TR6 but still a double platinum plug. I am getting eveything together to install a NX wet kit 75-150.

do not use platinum plugs with N2O.....if you do you will have damage.

all the accell shorty plugs i have seen were copper plugs,no platinum.

the cylinder pressure and temp gets hot enough to melt the platinum tips off the plug and they could possibly hang up on a seat of a valve and cause problems.

re route the plug wires if they are too close to the headers. i run NGK TR6 plugs with hooker long tubes and i run Taylor 409 race wires (10.4mm) and they dont touch.
