Nitrous users...
When would you spray a 100 shot with my mods? Just add Pacesetter LT's to the list... I was thinking 3rd and 4th?

Re: Nitrous users...
Well personaly I would spray it out the hole and all the way down the track.
If you are a six speed car with stock rear end and running slicks you may want to wait until after the launch. Dave |
Re: Nitrous users...
I personally wait til my car digs in. No sense having your tires smoke all the way down. Generally for me, its near the top of first, hitting second.

Re: Nitrous users...
It definitely depends on your tires.... If you have some slicks, spray from the launch, and hope the rear end doesn't break..... If you're on street tires, wait til the car's hooked, and then un-cork it.....
The most critical part of a 1/4 mile pass is the first sixty feet..... If your tires are sticky, spraying out of the hole will definitely help your e.t.... |
Re: Nitrous users...
Prime example of this would be, Spraying after my car caught traction on BFG drag radials.....I ran 12.3 at 116
Launching on the Nitrous with Slicks.....I ran 11.7 at 116 Huge difference, Sixty foot times went from 2.0 to 1.6....  But traction is a must...... |
Re: Nitrous users...
If I was you I wouldnt spray a 100 shot
maybe a 150 or 175 I ran a 175 shot on my internally stock lt1 for almost 2 years then pulled it apart and it looked like a new motor still. |
Re: Nitrous users...
It was dyno tuned? My engine will have probably around 125k when I Start to spray, with a valvetrain that'll have about 8k
|
Re: Nitrous users...
I would get drag radials or something before you sprayed, its a waste of time and nitrous to only be able to spray halfway down the track. :) off the line is where it is anyway.
