Nitrous safe????

I have the engine set up as listed below with all forged internals etc, the only thing i did not do is 4 bolt mains which i now wish i would have. i have been considering spraying 75-150 shot and was curious on opinions if the engine would handle it fairly reliably as long as there is a good tune and no detonation. the ring gaps are currently .023-.024

I cant speak for the ring gap, since i am not sure. But with the bottom end you have i would say your are more than safe to spray that 150 shot. People shoot 150 on stock bottom ends all the time with 2 bolt mains and good results.

my worry is that the motor already makes substantial power for what it is and i am worried about not having splayed mains, it is studded though with arp hardware

I see the point to your worries...i would say either call the shop that built the bottom end or just wait for a response from one of the good builders on this site such as machinistone or strokerace...

After looking at your sig, I would ask the question, why not find some traction first? You could easily run 11.0's give or take a little with the kind of mph your showing.
Then hit it with a 100-150 shot and go low 10's. Sounds easy, doesn't it.

i have been trying to work on it since i went to the track last, i have added adjustable shocks, relocation brackets, panhard bar, different rear springs, different gears, and will be adding drag radials as well. i wont use the nitrous much, probably more on the street than anything,

What are your shift points? 2 bolt mains do not like high rpms.

My set-up works half way decent and I don't know why. Very low 1.6x's and I'm still on Eibach Pro lowering springs and stock shocks. I have some of the parts you picked up, but I would credit my 60ft times mostly to the chassis mounted adjustable TA, relocation brackets (because I'm lowered) and the MT street radials. With you being a manual trans car it makes it more difficult, or at least I think so.
I think in the end, you will need the TA and a set of DR's that have some sidewall to them. Get that puppy to launch, hit it with the juice once you hit second gear and then try wiping the smile off your face.

I wouldnt worry about the 2 bolt mains unless you are turning it to high rpms. But I figure you are with the LE3 package.

As stated before the durability of 2 bolt vs 4 bolt is more RPM related than HP.

I would assume the LE3 is making peak power in the 6500+ range....nitrous will not have to be shifted as high it will need to me NA. So you should be fine w/around 150 shot.

please let me know if you have any other questions

Ive talked to him about his setup. He shifts at 7k. (thinking of doing a le3)
I see that being an issue.

I agree...but my point was RPM is the issue not HP
