Nitrous Express

I was thinking about buying an NX Kit. Is their anything else I would need to buy that is not included in the kit? I am planning on running a 100-125 shot. Should it be a wet or dry kit?

NX only sells wet kits so that choice is easy.

as far as all the other stuff,do a search,it has been well discussed as to the safety equipment needed.

Well im open to all nitrous kits for now. If I would like to spray a 100 to 125 shot safely which way to go wet or dry? Also my friend is thinking about buying a ZEX kit. Comes with a computer and such and the WOT throttle arming. Anyone have experience with this kit? Is NX better?

yes. NX is better. you get a WOT switch along with the kit. also get a window switch, and fpss for safety purposes...

Remember, ZEX is a dry kit which means you must rely on your stock injectors... normally they will work fine but I'm heard of a few locking up. It may be a good idea that if you go dry that you should consider upgrading your injectors.

Which is why it comes with the computer module to shut off the n20 if an injector locks up.

How does the ZEX kit moniter if your injectors lock up?
I don't know of any way the ZEX module would know if an injector locked up. I don't know much about ZEX, but if it does moniter fuel pressure and not just bottle pressure it still wouldn't know if an injector locked up because the fuel pressure would stay up.

Hmm. Im not sure on it completly. I was under the impression that it monitor's fuel/n20 ratio's and when one gets over the limit it turns off the n20. So if an injector locked up then the ratio would be out of wack thus causing the n20 to shut off.

Now that I read over what you said again it still wouldnt make since for it to know that the injector locked up. I would just take a safer route and install new injectors during the n20 install.

If your planing on running a 100+ shot you might also think about a new fuel pump. Walbro 255.
