new NGK iridium colder plugs, ok for juice??
new NGK iridium colder plugs, ok for juice??
I was just about to order a set of new NGK tr6's for my car, and noticed they have a new type of NGK plug on the thunder racing website. It's part #NGK TR6-IX.
The description is
"NGK TR6-IX Iridium Spark Plugs, One heat range colder than stock, gapped at .035 (Works well in extreme conditions, such as Nitrous, Supercharger, or High-compression motors) "
I know plats aren't good for nitrous, but i never heard about the iridium. It says extreme conditions such as nitrous but I just wanted some user feedback first. Has anyone used these types of plugs in a juiced motor or have any feedback on this??? I figure if the iridium would work fine they probably last alot longer then the coppers so I might as well go ahead and order those.
Thanks
Brian
