Lt1 colder plug gap vs stock plug gap
OK guys so just researching here.
I have the mods In my signature So I have two step colder plugs in my car when I ran 100 shot, this year I'm running the 125. I do not remember if I did so or not and obviously I was oblivious to this but stock plugs come with a .050 gap as I've read. I've noticed many colder plugs come with smaller gaps like .035 for some of the two steps colder ones I've seen. Now again until I get my car out for sure I do not know what the gap on the plugs are but assuming get out of my stupidity the colder plugs that are usually set at .035 were actually gapped at .05 would I see any problems? I'm an anxious person so I worry about everything haha Some other info I belive these are the same plugs I've ran with my old settup (I don't remember bc I've changed plugs a few timed) with stock motor, cc503 and bolts ons with 100 shot I ran 12.5 at 115 with slipping 4l60e and 10 bolt. My MPH I feel is real high for a 12.5. Also I didn't spray on launch or in first bc of the transmission issues. As previously asked will I show any issues on motor or will issues arise when I spray? If I change plugs will i need a retune? My tune is a basic n/a street tune right now and I use the Mallory685 for nitrous. Thanks guys |
