LS1 Questions

I have a stock 99 SS sitting in my driveway and an n2o setup from my last car sitting in my room. Basic dry setup with the addition of a window switch and a wot switch. What's the biggest shot that the car can take stock? What's the biggest the engine can safely handle with an upgraded fuel pump? And does anyone have the part number for colder plugs...1 and 2 colder?

Re: LS1 Questions

With the dry on a 99 the most I would go is approx 450-475 rwhp TOTAL. So if you making 350 with some very good boltons youll be limited to a 100-125 shot. if your bone stock you may get by with a 150 or so. With an injector an fuel pump upgrade you can spray up to ~600 rwhp total. But I would reocmend going dual stages to limit the TQ spike. 600 ft/lbs nd 600 rwhp is about all you want to go to. I have seen alot more....but it gets dicey. Its all relative though. If you need the car to be a 100k mile car id saty 550 or less.

NGK TR6 stock # 4177 is 1 step colder
NGK BP7EFS is 2 ranges colder
