How to mount the bottle???
 

What is the best way to mount my bottle in my 91 Camaro??? I have the rear seats removed, so I was thinking just putting it in one of the seats places. Is this legal for at the track, or does it need to be in the rear hatch area??? I've also thought of putting it in the spare-tire compartment.

If you mount it inside of the passenger compartment and you want to pass tech at the track then you need to run a blowdown tube to a hole leading outside of the car.

Whether you mount it in the spare tire well or the rear passenger seating area, you will need a blow down tube to vent outside of the car. It doesn't really matter either way where you mount it, you can have the "sleeper effect" if you run it in the spare tire well.

Nitro Dave makes a bracket to mount the bottle on the tunnel between the rear seats..... its for the 4th Gen, but might fit the 3rd Gen. I posted a couple pics of it in this thread:

Well, the sleeper idea went out the window when I put in a 653HP roller engine. After that I stripped the interior and dropped in a 9 inch, subframe the car and a 8 point cage. I have been running on just motor for the past year, but am now looking at spraying the engine. I build it to hold up to a 400 fogger, but 150 should suffice. I was thinking of the ZEX system, but have heard good things on the Edelbrock system also. I can get the Edel. sys. for about $300 new, the zex would run $400, any thoughts??? I'm going to mount it in-place of the drv. rear seat, already have holes there from a botched exhaust I tried to run so the blow-down is no-biggie. Thanks for the help, if I still had my interior I would have deffinatley went with the HUMP-MOUNT set up.

if you mount it in the rear you can use the weight to help you hook
i know it's only about 20lbs but it is an extra 20lbs where you need it

I am mounting mine on the top of the driveshaft tunnel just behined the center consol. Everyone around here knows I have the bottle going in and a pop the hood at cruise ins so I don't care much about the sleeper look, just don't tell people how much I spray.

Well, I bought the NX Hitman System. I got a killer deal, under $300 NEW !!! Anyways, it will be here monday, cant wait to put that forged engine to some good use. I'm only gonna spray 150 to start with, then I will move up to 250 by the end of the month I hope.
