Help with bottle mounting
 
Well i have a 1996 ws6 Trans-AM .I am using NOS universal wet kit foger nozzel.My ? is how to mount the tank in the spare tire well ,I would like to keep it out of site and have my tee tops space . the brackets in the kit just do not fit to mount it to the side like i saw in GM high tech ,so has any one here have any Idears.Pics would be nice .Also shift light ? [M6].I have MSD dig6 should the shift light ref signal come from the MSD box or pin 13 tac out put under the glove box

You might want to try a "search"..... I've seen a few threads about mounting the bottle in the spare tire area.

well thanks for the info and post how it came out ,ill try to cut and bend the ones i have , if it does not work ill be buying that plate and new brackets

Its almost done, but I wish I had the 10# bottle instead of the 15#, it would make life alot easier. I am using the same brackets that came with the kit on this mounting plate. However, I needed to prop the bottle a little more so it wouldn't rest on the wheelwell. To solve that problem, I machined up a pair of 1" spacers and proped the front bracket up higher. Other then that, it is going pretty well and the bottle portion of the nitrous install should be done today. I'll try to get up pics as soon as possible.

I made an MDF "shelf" that sat low in there, it rested on two L brackets that were bolted to the lower portion of the spare tire bracket back there. With the bottle that low, if tucked in nicely and had plenty of room for the remote bottle opener under the stock trim panel.
