Dynotune Nitrous wet kit install progress (with pics)

Here are some pics of the progress of my install... Still some work needs to be done but almost finished :)

The bottle is mounted in the spare tire compartment with the 860 Performance brackets...

I have yet to install and wire up the automatic bottle heater. I will have to wait before installing the blow down tube kit and remote opener since the bottle is full right now. I chose to run the main feed lines out of the car, going across to the driver's side. I had to order a 5' extension since the 16' line that comes with the kit will not be long enough if you go this route. I joined both lines under the car with the high flow nitrous filter.

Here's what it looks like under the hood:

Still some wiring to finish up there too

A better shot of the tomahawk nozzle (just have the 75hp jets in for now)

I had a big dilemma concerning nozzle placement... Most pics of single nozzle setups I found from searching either have the nozzle on the elbow on the drivers side before the bend or on the passenger side right after the IAT sensor. Didn't want to put it on the drivers side since it looks like it would spray directly on the IAT, and on the passenger side it looks like it would spray mostly down one of the TB openings and one bank of cylinders would get more nitrous/fuel mist than the the other... So that's why I decided on this nozzle setup we'll see how it works out...

I oriented it so it sprays right at the middle of the TB blades...

And the WOT switch:

A friend of mine installed the Mallory 685 today. It'ls on the floor in a mess of wires right now but at least it works and we are going to put it in the glove box.

Here are the dynotune gauges... N2O PSI and I have ordered the fuel psi gauge as well it should be coming in tomorrow. Also have the dynotune nitrous switch center. I put them in a custom pod I made to fit in the slot under the radio.

Any comments welcome :)

Seems well thought out. One thought - you can get an electronic WOT switch that can be hidden out of sight. Splices into the TPS wires.

Yes one of my concerns about the WOT switch the way I have it right now is that I have it installed with a couple of washers as spacers. I needed the spacers because only this way could I position the switch in such a way that it gets activated just as the throttle reaches wide open, and it does not affect the range of motion of the throttle. However should the TB bolt back out somehow, the microswitch and bracket would get in the way of the throttle and it could stay stuck open. Obviously I would have to be REALLY unlucky for that to happen...

Nonetheless I plan on ordering this cool item in the future when I have a Wideband O2 installed:

It's a AFR lean shut down switch and has built-in electronic TPS :)

This dual wideband kit includes an output that can be used for an alarm or for system shutdown. Unfortunately, it's on the expensive side, or I'd have one.
