DynoTune nitrous products for LT1

They're a sponsor at ls1tech, don't know about here. Their 75-150 wet kit for LT1/LT4 is about 1/2 the price of comparable NX,NOS, ZEX,Edelbrock, etc.. kit I've been looking at. Seems to include all the same things too(nozzle, jets, hoses, bottle, bracket, solenoids). Why so much less? Any experiences with them?

If anybody knows the screen name of one of their representatives, that'd be great. Thanks.

Probably has to do with the quality of the actual components. The NX and Nitrous Outlet solenoids are noticably beefier then the Dynotune ones.

the only differance is the solinoid?they are so much cheaper than the other brands you could buy another solinoid and still come out ahead.fittings, bottle ect are the same.mine came with earls fittings.

True, but a brand new solenoid from one of the big names will easily run a 100 bucks a piece and beyond so I don't know if you would come ahead at that point.

I haven't had a problem with any of my parts . Part of the price difference is the base kits come with a 175 hp soleniod which could start becoming a restriction before reaching its rating. Most of the other nitros kits come with 250 hp soleniods but dynotune will upgrade the soleniod if you fill the need. Most people on street cars don't go over 150hp.

All information was taken from published data. If any inaccurate information is posted I will happily correct it.

Part_______Nitrous Outlet_________Nitrous Express_______Dynotune
Price_______$499_________________$609_____________ __$359
Solenoids___400hp +______________300 HP______________175 HP
Bottle/Valve_90* 2 pressure ports___45* 2 pressure ports___90*
Jetting______35-150 (14 total)_____35-150 (14 total)______75-150 (6 Total)

This is meant for comparison purposes only.

Dynotune also uses lines that have a NPT fitting on one end. These will screw directly into the solenoid. NX and Nitrous Outlet kits come with NPT to AN adaptor fittings. This lets you change a line without having to break the seal and in our opinion is easier to install.

Another thing to consider when purchasing a kit is the support you can expect to receive after the sale.

I would have to say the same also. Can't wait to find the time to install my Nitro Daves plate system. The only thing is, I'm sure I'm going to make Ray nuts by the end of the install. Maybe not though, it does come with some very nice instructions.

Take your time, have fun with it. There is nothing too challenging about it.

I upgradeed my soleniods to there 250hp ones but I wish I would have known that your kit had 400hp niods. Now If i just had a single plane that can handle it.
