Carbed N2O timing question

How much N2o can be run before timing issues arise? Thinking about spraying a 78 vette but don't want to have to play with the timing every time the nitrous is used. Do you think a 100 shot could be used saftely? Thanks

It would probably be ok but why take the chance? Mark the current distributer location with a scratch on the block that corosponds with a scratch on the distributer and set it back 2 degrees with a timing light. When your done racing put the distributer back to the scratch, its insurance to avoid blowing the motor especially if they are cast pistons.
