breaking up

During spraying my car it will start to break up. IS this because there is alot of air in the lines

Try colder plugs (TR6's or Autolite 103/104's. How big of a shot are you running?

Yes, please tell us more, what size shot, what plugs, what gap for the plugs, are fuel and N2O jets in the rite holes, stock or aftermarket ignition what is your timming at if aftermarket if adjustable, stock or aftermarket fuel pump, bottle pressure, does it break up all the way or just at high RPM's?

All of the above is important so let us know.

Mine just started doing this too, and afterwards it does it a little while NOT on the bottle!

In other words, I'm curious to see what you find.

Mods in sig, bottle was about 1/2 full, and pretty cold at the time. I'll have to try it again and see if a warmer bottle/longer purge takes care if it.

the jjet i had was a 67 wich is about a 200 shot i jeted down to a 150 and its fine. The one time when it brooke up it blew black smoke out. But it did not do it normaly and ran fine.

Re: breaking up

Yeah, seems my little Nitrous Works fuel solenoid was leaking fuel a little bit, (made the car hard to start too) and gas mileage went down the tubes. I swapped it out with a spare NOS Cheater solenoid last night and voila, problem solved. I am AMAZED at how much more fuel flow comes out of a Cheater than a little 1" solenoid, like 5 times as much of not more. Now I gotta get my bottle refilled because I left it open and it all evaporated.

/Cliff notes: too much extra fuel was causing my breaking up problems.

That most likely means it was blowing the spark out. I'm having the same issue but mine is related to a lack of battery voltage. It seems that on the bigger shot it goes way rich no matter what I do with fuel pressure. In fact it gets even richer the more pressure I take out  I noticed that my bottle heaters where draining the optima down between pulls and the car would only start with the help of a charger and barely at that. I came to the conclusion that the lower voltage was not letting the msd fire the plugs at the same strength therefore blowing out the spark intermitintley. The lower fuel pressure caused more cylinder pressure which in turn blew out the candles quicker resulting in an even richer afr. BTW, mine also blows clouds of black smoke out when it swims. Gonna try it again monday. Sorry to ramble, just thought this might help someone.
