Blower and nitrous

Please help answer a question... I have been told by some people that a 50 shot with a blower is equal to a 100 shot, is this true or not? How much juice can I put with 18lbs of intercooled boost?

Not so, in my experience. With a 150 shot my gain is 125rwhp. There is probably a bit more available with making it a bit leaner, but I am pretty conservative about tuning.

How much is too much? With 18lbs of boost I'd say you will need race gas to run any nitrous. If you have a low compression ratio with top notch parts, that will help.

I gained 110rwhp with a 100 shot. The nitrous does seem to net more hp with the blower but not to the point where a 50 shot is equivalent to a 100 shot.

Rich

I'm running a low compression engine built for boost. Thanks for the input as always and your help in the past.
