where can you get race gas around LA and OC??
Race Gas
I dont know if you know it but there is different types of gas, I.E. leaded and unleaded. 1st off you dont want to run any type of leaded gas in your car, unless you dont care about o2 sensors or your cats, leaded gas will clog them up and they will go bad. If i were you i would get high octane unleaded gas. you live in west covina right so http://www.3dman.com/Ducky/Hot_fuel.htm
the pomona has 100 octane unleaded you should go there with like a 1/8 of a tank and fill up like the whole tank or half a tank.

yeah, i forgot to say, i'm looking for unleaded race gas for my nitrous
A Union 76 station in this area that advertises racing gas is located at the station on Citrus, just south of the I10. I've never bought from them since unleaded racing gasoline is not appropriate for my application but they have a small sign indicating a price (something over $5) in front of the station.

$5 a gallon.....that's sounds normal, but imagine if you fill up your tank with that
that would be $75
but i will just use around 2 - 3 gallon, for my 150 shot
You can go online to 76 gasoline website and search to see what gas stations sell racing fuel! You will be able to print out the directions to get to those certain gas stations which sell the fuel! Uhmm there is a place here in torrance which also sells racing fuel, but I forgot the name, I'll post it when I remember! Later and good luck man!

If you exit the I10 eastbound at Citrus and take the "south" ramp, you'll be staring at the station when you get to the light. It'll be on the wrong side of Citrus but in plain view. If you take the "north" ramp to the frontage street, go straight across the frontage into the shopping center, you can loop around the other businesses and enter the station from the back side. I looked again this morning and saw that they still have the price sign for racing gas posted.
Good luck

wow....thanks a lot....that help very much
Be careful of the type of race gas you use... the leaded race gas will damage your car... O2 sensors and Cat. Use only unleaded race gas.
Also, be careful of how much alcohol you use... it will try up the o-ring seals in your fuel pump and injector seals.
Send Josh at JDPerformance an email to get some race fuel... he buys it for the guys by the 55 gallon drum. jdperformance73@aol.com . He's got a link to his website too but I can't remember it off hand. He's located in Huntington Beach.
Toluene works well too... just keep it below 20%...
