Need a transmission rebuild/ shop - t56 6spd

I have a 2002 ss. Its slipping out of 3rd gear into neutral sometimes. I think I need a new syncro, shift fork or gear.

Who knows of a good transmission rebuild shop in Socal. I'm located near San Bernardino/Riverside but will travel to orange county or closer to LA if there is a good cheap place.

I've called toyshop and they say it might be around $1300.
Don Lee auto has a guy that does it for them, but I don't know who that is. They said it probably wouldn't be too much more than $500 probably.
I wrote an email to the Don in orange county.
Where else, I really need it done as cheaply as possible.

Anyone know a ballpark figure for how much this costs, my estimates are all over the place.

You might check with Remac Transmissions in San Dimas. Leo is a very sharp tech. They're close to the corner of the 57 and 210. Number is in the book.
