Talking Anyone interested in going shooting with us soon?

The rundown on this weekends' trip in the Lounge, and pics.

Gauging interest. We'd like to have a group of board members come shooting with us one of these weekends soon. (We go on either Saturdays or Sundays.) We've got a great spot in a canyon here east of Hemet, and it's definitely worth the trip. When it's not a holiday weekend, it's pretty empty up there.

A bunch of pics, and the shooting area

But we'd love to meet up with some of CZ28 brothers (and sisters!) -get to know you all, and have some fun.

Where we are

So, anybody interested?

I'd be very interested. I don't think I want to take my Camaro on the dirt road. I'm a bit busy this month with the holidays and work... but I'd be ready to roll on the first of the year (after the Vegas CES show)

Wow you have some crazy guns man, I don't know what they are but they look cool in your pictures. I only have a .22 Remington rifle and a little co2 powered Gamo Glock that shoots pellets I like my little guns though, I shoot my Dads 30-06 a few times and my shoulder goes numb

Thumbs up

Good deal. Everyone come out, and we will shuttle you up there! I've got room in my K5, David offroads his Hyundai up there, I even take my Tercel up there.

No worries... We won't make you guys drive your F-Bods up this road. You can park at my house, and it's just a 5-10 minute ride to the canyon.

So if that is the deciding factor for anyone, don't worry bout it!

Oh, and any of your weapons are welcome. Bring your .22s, anything you got. I'll be happy to let anyone put a few rounds through my Mini-14. It's a blast to shoot.

Let either myself or David (gmeapush) know... Either by posting here or PM. Any questions just ask. And yes, after the 1st of the year is fine, we were figuring we'd do it a month or so from now, so everyone has time to plan.

Hey everyone, I just thought I would add to this a little. Even if you don't own firearms but are interested in learning or even getting over a fear of guns you are also more than welcome to come on out. It's a great time and a great experience if you have never tried.

how far away is it from the city of Los Angeles and how much does it cost. Also are you allowed to fire rapidly or only single fire every few seconds. I like to go slow with my ammo since it costs alot, but it feels great to let a whole clip go as fast as can be had every once in a while. Its really to bad Cali has all these bad gun laws, I'd love to get an AK just for blowing cheap ammo quick, but since they're illegal now in this wonderful state I'd like to go, but might not dependig on my gun, lately the operating rod has been hard to pull back, Iv'e switched all the parts around from spare parts and still same problem, its leading me to believe the barrel might be bent and thus needing replcement, which is more money than I can spare at the moment. You guys go up pretty frequently it sounds like, so sometime in the future might be duable.

About 1 hr by car from LA.

No charge. It's in the hills.

You can shoot at whatever pace you like.
