Anyone else in the Inland Empire hear the sonic boom/explosion?

On Thanksgiving night? It shook the ground and there was a massive concussion. But anyway... I was wondering if anyone else felt this thing?

Hemet PD was running all over the city investigating related calls. In 10 minutes, they received over 150 calls about this. Everyone and their momma was calling 911 -Yeah, lets tie the police up over a sound making you **** your pants..... Nevermind that somebody in the city might actually need to call 911 for a legit reason.

Everyone had their own story to tell dispatch... It's funny how all these people with vivid imaginations come out of the woodwork when something like this happens. But not only do they freak out, they make up a story and call the cops as if they know it to be true. One of the RPs (callers) claimed that he saw an explosion out near the dam..... of course, -terrorists right?

Another group of callers claimed that they saw "jets flying low and fast".

Anyone else out there hear anything?

Well, exactly... They aren't. But it still happens de vez en cuando. From time to time. We have a squadron of CA ANG F-16s out of March ARB. They might have accidentally poured it on a little hot on their way back to base.

My little brother said "Maybe it was the Aurora" Hehe

I don't know if you remember... About 8, maybe 9 years ago.. Back when I was still in high school... The SR-71 broke well over Mach 1 (probably 1.5) halfway up the state on it's way to Beale AFB (S.F. area).. Now that was awesome, -two sonic booms shook the place. It was pretty big at the time, was all over the newspapers and TV. Lots of broken windows.

Ehhhh... It was probably just a meth lab up in the hills blowing up, and nobody will know until somebody starts looking for the toothless wonder who was working it.
