i need to fix my ac because it's blowing warm air. is there any good and reliable AC guys here is LA/orange county area?? i just paid $75:mad: worth of nothing today, so this time, i really wanna make sure the person that will do the checking on my car is a pro. otherwise, i will not take the chance again. i need to do this before i attend the las vegas invasion......thanks guys

i need to get it checked. last shop that i went to just ripped me off. they told me that my PCM is going bad, and costed me $75 for them to tell me that. i know my PCM is not going bad, because mu cooling fans is turning when it suppose to, and my car runs great. check this out http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=157836

Not sure what specifically is the problem, but for servicing the system, I HIGHLY recommend getting your own kit. I balked at it myself for a long time thinking it was too easy to screw something up. I finally broke down and bought a $35-40 dollar kit from a local parts store (had a gauge and everything). Read the instructions and man, you really can't screw it up. The low and high sides have different fittings, and the R-134A is VERY cheap, like ~$2 a can. Takes a whole 10 minutes to fill it up. Just follow the instructions, use the chart provided in the instructions, and your system will be serviced, and you'll save yourself plenty of cash in the long run. It was one of the best $40 I've ever spent. :)

Interdynamics makes the kit I have. I would venture to guess that most all parts stores carry one kit or another. I got mine at Schuck's (Kragen). :)

thanks man. i bought the kit, it comes with one can, a gauge, a hose, and fittings. is that all i need to have?? can you explain how to refill this to me in details please:bow: ......i have no clue at all on what to do here :( :cry:

Umm, I seem to have misplaced my instructions, but DO read them. It's not hard to do. One thing I do remember is that you HAVE to hold the can UPSIDE-DOWN in order for the stuff to come out. :)

Ok, I looked again but no instructions in my box. I lost them. :mad:

Anyway, I did find their website, and I have this kit:

ok. i found two places where to put it. do i have to refill it to the one that close the the radiator, or to the one that close to the heater core??? i tried to refill the one that close to the heater core, it fits perfect, but the freon would not go in. i tried to fit the hose in the the one that close to the radiator, but the connection would not fit. now i'm all confused:cry:
