I need a drivers side rear caliper for my beater. The seal in mine broke and is pissing fluid all over the place. Thanks.

they should be pretty cheap at the auto store. havent you checked that yet? I hate the rear brakes of those cars BTW.

can you give me more info on the tool that is needed to compres the rear caliper? I have a 93 GP and was going to change the rear pads this weekend, The front pads didnt require a tool to compress the caliper

 

It turns the caliper piston, basically it screws back in but you need a special tool.

 

sears has the tool. there is a generic rear brake caliper compressing tool. it prolly around $50 or so.

Mine is like a square..4 different sides..cuz when you take the pads off..on the caliper theres gonna be little slots/groves whatever you wanna call it..and the caliper Screws in..dosent compress with a c-clamp.

I ended up having to go and buy a new caliper..a brand new one was cheaper then any junk yard surpringly..cuz all they had was rebuild.
