Winter project time is closing in rapidly. I think I'm doing a Cam and maybe a new Throttle body. Any sugestions on a throttle body? How about BBK?

Whats everyone else got planned?

I will be performing an excorcism on my ride this winter.....with the helpful and knowledgable staff of APE of course. I have a few ideas in the cooker, so the plan is to let them simmer and see what my mind can cook up.

I have been talking to one of my old Car Tunes homies again lately and he has some sick ideas for my dash/radio/switch panel. Its a long story but it will look really sweet when done.

List of Winter Mods:
Th-350
Race Seats
NX Direct Port (this system gets me horny)
BMR K-member with a-arms (best stuff on the market hands down)
BMR Xtreme Rear Anti-Roll Bar
BMR Xtreme Torque Arm
Lose 30lbs from driver 200lbs from car
shhhhhhhhhhh.......the rest is a secret

The goal is to be ready for July 2003. We'll see how it goes

I currently have the Red Rag up on stands. Start to pull the driveline out in two weeks. Taking the cradle assembly out with the tranny. The tranny gets a full overhaul with 5 gear planetarys and new bands and friction....AGAIN. Motor is getting punched to a 355, fully forged. Depending on money after that, maybe a 12 bolt or a giggle juice setup. But the tranny and motor are for sure

New fuel pump, bigger injectors, and some tuning. Getting prepared for some juice possibly for next year. Might also have to put a new clutch in.

Holly Stealth Ram ~ $500 For Sure

AFR heads ~$1000+ Not certain

If no AFR heads make it to the shop...

I wantg to hit 106-108 mph next year. That should be good for about low 13's or so.

I might have a line on a guy local for us to get porting done. Do you remember that 7 second GTO at Stanton? Jimmers GTO? I just found out the guy who does his porting is a guy I work with. I am going to find out what he is gonna charge for a few sets. Bet I can find some vette heads for him to work on

I would also be interested in a local guy that does head porting. I have a bare set of LT-1 heads that I was going to take to Lynn at Kalamazoo High Performance to port.

Brad if you got to 108 mph you should be easily in the mid to high 12's. I am running 12.4x at 111 and the M6's usually MPH higher than the automatics.

hope your winter projects go better than mine

Well I tore my engine down to the bare block. Was going to redo the whole engine after I found that I had piston skirt damage. after dropping off the block crank and heads off at the machine shop Ive found that its all junk except for one head!!! Im now looking for a reasonably priced long block. I wont even have the money for that till next month!!!! Oh well It will be back together by next spring.

Dan

I will find out soon on our local hookup. I will post once I know something. It'd be pretty cool to see the West Side come out swinging in the spring

Think the "hookup" would be interested in further massaging some old school BBC heads?
