Trade my custom true duals for your y pipe and catback?

I'm kicking around the idea of trading my custom made 3" w/H pipe and bullets true duals system for a y pipe and catback. I'd like a local deal so the system won't have to be cut up.

The reason I want to trade is I want to get a torque arm that doesn't connect to the trans and my exhaust is in the way. I'd also really like tail pipes again. I love the way my car sounds at idle and WOT but sacrifices have to be made I guess.

This exhaust system is hooked up to my Hooker LT headers and tucks up nicely under the car. No clearance issues either. I don't know what other lt's this will fit, I only know for sure that it fits hooker lt's.

I've cut the turn downs off and it reduced interior drone by about 90%. I still have the turn downs though and they can easily be welded back on.

Will also sell outright for $250.

I'll trade my Hooker y-pipe mated to the 3" SLP 2-on-the-left catback! The y mates up to my Hooker LT's but the coating is flaking off. The catback is in great shape...and it's all off my car right now because I'm in the middle of a H/C swap!

I'm interested. I'm not worried about the coating, it's flaking off the bottom of my headers too. You don't happen to have a vid of your car with this setup do you? I went to ls1 sounds and the one with that catback and hooker lt's doesn't seem to be the best recording.

What kind of muffler is the slp muffler? Is it straight through? Chambered? I know going to a catback setup will loose me some HP but I just want to get an idea how much.

The muffler is a stainless straight through. I don't think the 3" system is going to be a restriction until way beyond 400+rwhp. The 2OTL actually flows very good. I've got some vids of my car at the track I can send you, I don't think I have any idling or driving around on the street though.

Sounds good. The first video didn't work for me but the second did. One thing I thought of though is since your car runs around 12 seconds you probably have a driveshaft loop. I don't know if one will fit with my system.

hmmm?? It's hard to tell from your pic, but did you remove your tunnel brace? I don't see one. If you removed it because of your duals, it probably won't fit mine. That's where my loop is mounted.

I did remove the tunnel brace to fit this system.

I'm not sure if your setup will work for me. I think I'll have to pass. Good luck though.
