Well, I cracked open a full bottle for third round and broke out against a grand national. I still came away with something that 15 others in EFI didnt get- a check. So I'll have bottle refill and race gas money for M7.
Tom Craig was #1 qualfier and won the event with a 10.005 on a 10.0 index.
Monte Kev made the finals in street eliinator but was a little off his dial in and got runner up.

I ended up beating the points winner (Todd Merkle) 2 times out of 3 in the 4 races I got to this year. That is encouraging news for next year. I'm already looking forward to the first race of 2003, which will be in Atlanta in March.

Hmmm,... Hotlanta... that could be tough to focus on just the racing, but certainly worth the ride.

Its called Atlanta dragway but its actually in Commerce GA about 70 miles away from Atlanta up I-85. I'm sure that has screwed up more than a few people. BTW, I am familar with the Atlanta underground scene.

Ahhhh... but after rolling all that way... a mere 70 miles is still worth a celebration trip.
